| Exhibitions:
There are exhibitions throughout the year by local schools, the
Selby Museum Group, photographic societies, local contemporary artists and carers' organisations. Educational Visits: approximately 35
schools visit each year plus a number of adult groups from universities and
colleges.
Conducted Tours: pre-booked
conducted tours regularly take place. These groups have included two
American Universities, the Georgian Society, Leeds Medieval Conference,
Members of the RAF and numerous local organisations.
Recital/Concerts: The Abbey is
widely used for a variety of musical events ranging from Brass Band
concerts, with amongst others, the ever popular Black Dyke , the Welsh
Male Voice Choir and 'Song from the Shows' to regular recitals by our
resident organist and international artists including Carlo Curly, Gillian
Weir and Francis Jackson.
