The magnificent East or Jesse window.  A common theme in church art, the depiction of Jesse usually conforms to Isaiah 11, 1-10 in which it is suggested that that Jesse is to be the ancestor of the Messiah and in Matthew 1, 1-17 in which it is conformed.
