We can accept cash, UK cheques, and international money orders. Do not forget that if you are a UK tax payer, we can ask you to 'Gift Aid' your donation so that we get tax as well, at no extra cost to you. If you are a 40% tax payer, you get tax back as well!  A simple form to be enclosed with your donation is available here.

Acceptance of US Gifts 

The Selby Abbey Appeal can assure tax deductible giving through any of three ways.  The charity can prove “equivalence” through the Revenue Procedure  92-94 affidavit and support schedule.  We are also authorised to accept contributions from The American Fund for Charities, a 501(c) (3) that encourages international philanthropy.   Finally, we would of course accept an expenditure responsibility grant.
