Celtic Carols By Candlelight is an evocative hour of traditional music and storytelling that reimagines the Advent/Christmas season through the eyes of the Celtic Christians that dwelt in the North in the 7th century. Haunting carols, hymns and chants are drawn from historical sources and expertly woven into the inspiring tales of the saints of Northumbria.
Now in its third year of touring – including sell-out performances in 2025 – Celtic Carols By Candlelight was created by independent folk musician and modern-day bard Olivia Graham specifically for performance in historic churches.

Please note: as this is a touring show, the nature of the candlelight aspect of the performance varies from venue to venue as per the requirements of the individual church.
