Come and Sing with Matthew Coleridge and The Tallis Consort

Matthew Coleridge returns to Selby Abbey for an inspiring day of choral singing. You’ll perform two of his works – Requiem and new composition The Breath of Life – alongside professional choir The Tallis Consort, and accompanied by a professional orchestra.

Matthew will lead rehearsals and conduct the evening concert. Don’t miss this opportunity to sing with one of the UK’s most exciting choral composers, in one of our most spectacular and historic churches.

Under 18s welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.

• 10:00 – 10:30

  singer registration. Tea and coffee will be available

• 10:30 – 13:30

  morning rehearsal (with organ)

• 13:30 – 14:30

  lunch break (bring a packed lunch)

• 14:30 – 17:30

  afternoon rehearsal (with orchestra)

• 19:00 – 20:30

  concert performance – dress code for singers: all black

Selby Abbey will be open to the public from 10:00 to 16:00 with our coffee shop available from 10:30 to 15:30
